Call for General and Special Sessions

1. General Sessions

General Sessions can be on any of the below suggestive themes. The subject should have a sufficiently broad appeal. The time allotted to a session, and the oral-poster distribution, will be dependent on the actual number of abstracts submitted.

Broad themes:

Atmosphere, Oceans, Cryosphere / Poles, Land and Vegetation, Bioaccumulation, Environmental Health, Science & Policy, New lab analysis or modeling techniques

2. Special sessions

Should have their own specific themes and generally the discussed topics should have a distinct flavor. The Convener(s) are required to submit at least 6 potential speakers who are likely to present at the proposed special session.

For example, such sessions can be on focused topics, important developments, monitoring or modeling networks / initiatives, special policy initiatives or industrial innovations.

The Session organizer/chair must not speak at the session. All speakers would need to register for the conference. In case there are not enough speakers, the session may be merged with a general session at discretion of the executive and/or scientific steering committee. However, such decision will likely be communicated with the session organizer/chair before the call for abstract is released.

Deadline: 7^th August 2025

The proposal itself should have the following:

• 1. Title
• 2. Information on the proposer
• 3. Session summary (500 words)
• 4. Key words/phrases

For special sessions

• 5. Names and emails of prospective speakers
• 6. If possible, tentative titles of talks, or topics the prospective speakers will talk about.
